From the point of view of this Government no
better site could be selected for it can never interfere with any
scheme for the development of the Colony.
I would, therefore, ask your permission to regard Kowloon Bay as available for Colonial purposes and as no
longer reserved as a site for any High Power Wireless Station. I
shall be glad to have a reply by telegraph to this Despatch in
order that I may take up the question upon which some of the
Chinese Community have approached me with a view to considering
it in detail and of making recommendations to you on the subject.
